Fashion Industry Roundtable

An industry roundtable helped the Dept determine priorities and possibilities for supporting the growth of Toronto's fashion sector.

The Dept co-designed and led this roundtable in December 2016 on behalf of the City’s Economic Development and Culture Division. The input of key industry professionals – retailers, designers, educators, manufacturers, marketers and distributors – were being sought to determine priorities and possibilities supporting the growth of the sector. An online survey also supported the consultation, resulting in a City staff report with recommendations for next steps.
