Sistering Space Assessment

The Dept helped this essential agency for at-risk women to discern and understand their present and future programming commitments and what that might mean in a renewed space or building.

The Dept led engagement deliberations centred on programming space expansion and renewal by Sistering, a multi-service agency for at-risk, socially isolated women and trans-people who are homeless or precariously housed. We interviewed Sistering staff, Board members and participants over a five-month period in 2020 and made recommendations for meeting programming objectives with real estate and architectural strategies in collaboration with N Barry Lyons Consulting.

You can learn more about Sistering on their website.
